Prof. Raymond C. Jagessar obtained his BSc (Distinction) in Chemistry/Biology from the University of Guyana (1992) and his PhD from the UK (1995). He held three Post Doctoral Research Fellowships (PDF) at the University of South Carolina (USA), Wichita State University (USA) and the University of the West Indies during the period, 1996-1999. He has several international awards, amongst them are Chartered Chemist, CChem and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, FRSC, UK, Research Grants etc. His research interests are broad, covering the spectrum of Pure and Applied Chemistry, Chemical Biology and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. He has published ninety (90) research articles, five book chapters and presented at several international conferences, locally and internationally. He is currently Professor in Chemistry at the University of Guyana (South America).

Ia Kurashvili completed her PhD in 2008 in Georgian Technical University. She is a senior scientific worker in Ilia Vekua Sukhumi Institute of Physics and Technology. She has published more than 50 scientific papers and has been participated in more than 20 International Scientific Confrerences.

Dr Hadassah Janumala, is the CEO of GoodLife Biomedical, Inc USA. She has more than 20 years of expertise and experience in the design and development of Biomedical Devices. Designed and Developed orthopedic biomaterials implants for spine applications with FDA 510K approval. Subject matter expert for top orthopedic, Tissue engineering companies for Product Development, Biocompatibility and Design controls. Dr Janumala completed her PhD in Biomedical Engineering Sciences, with outstanding International publications in peer-reviewed ophthalmic journals, several Media Reports and Awards. Hadassah has several International Patents in USA, UK, Germany, France, Australia, Japan and India to her credit. Hadassah was awarded the Governor’s Gold Medal for securing university FIRST RANK in her Masters degree (MS) in Cellular Biochemistry and Physiology. She also completed her Master’s in Education (MS).
